About Coach

Helena started skating at four years old, training in Los Angeles, California. Representing Mexico, she was Mexican National Champion and Junior Olympic Champion from age 11 to 18, and competed internationally on the Junior Grand Prix circuit and at Four Continents, skating in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Korea, the Czech Republic, and Norway.

Landing all her triple jumps didn’t happen by accident. Alongside on ice training, she put in years of dedicated off ice conditioning, the kind of technical groundwork most skaters never see, but that separates skaters who land jumps consistently from those who don’t.

Now she coaches at Missoula Figure Skating Club in Montana, and she built this analysis service for skaters who don’t have access to coaching, whether it’s cost, location, or just not finding the right fit. She knows what it takes to compete at an international level, and she brings that same eye for detail to every video she reviews.
